Warranty Terms, Care & Use

 

At Teck Designs, we use high-quality Vinyl, ABS, ASA and PLA materials to deliver products that combine precision fitment, durability, and a clean, premium look—designed specifically for automotive use.

 

1. Warranty Coverage

 

Vinyl Decals

All vinyl decals include a one (1) year limited warranty against peeling or color fading under normal use conditions.

 

3D-Printed Floating Center Caps

All 3D-printed floating center caps are printed in ABS & ASA plastic which include a six (6) month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects, including cracking, warping, or failure of the floating mechanism under normal driving conditions.

 

2. Temperature Ratings & Use Conditions

PLA Components

  • Rated for temperatures up to 130°F (55°C)

  • Not recommended for extreme heat, track use, or prolonged direct sun exposure.

 

ABS Components

  • Rated for temperatures up to 185°F (85°C)

  • ABS offers improved heat resistance and is recommended for higher-performance applications and warmer climates

 

ASA Components

  • Rated for temperatures up to 210°F (99°C)

  • Excellent UV resistance and heat stability

  • Recommended for high-heat environments, outdoor exposure, and long-term automotive use

 

Exceeding these temperature limits or using the product outside of its intended conditions may result in deformation or failure and is not covered under warranty.

 

3. Care & Cleaning Instructions

 

To maximize product lifespan and maintain warranty coverage:

  • Hand wash only using mild soap and water

  • Avoid pressure washers, automatic car washes, and abrasive brushes

  • Do not use harsh chemicals, degreasers, or wheel acids

  • Allow products to cool before cleaning, especially after driving

  • Inspect periodically to ensure proper fitment and secure installation

 

Proper care will help preserve appearance, function, and long-term performance.

 

4. Exclusions

 

This warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by:

  • Improper installation or application

  • Surface contamination or poor surface preparation

  • Excessive heat exposure beyond rated limits

  • Pressure washing or abrasive or chemical cleaning

  • Impact damage, curb rash, road debris, or accidents

  • Modifications, misuse, or improper fitment

  • Normal wear and tear after installation

 

5. Remedy

 

If a covered defect occurs within the warranty period, Teck Designs will repair or replace the affected product at no additional cost, at our discretion. Proof of purchase and photo or video documentation may be required.

 

6. Limitations

 

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the original product only. Labor, installation or removal costs, vehicle downtime, and incidental or consequential damages are not covered.
