Installation Instructions

 

Step 1: Preparation

  • Ensure wheels are clean and completely dry

  • Remove any existing center caps, heat up the back of them center cap(we suggest a heat gun, hair dryer works too) to remove the front emblem

  • Wipe the mounting surface with WD-40, this will soften the glue residue. we recommend removing as much residue as you possible can to prevent issues later.

 

Step 2: Assemble the Floating Cap

  • Insert the floating disc into the mounting cap as shown

  • Ensure the floating mechanism moves freely and rotates smoothly(Some finishes on wheels will rub with cap. please make sure clearance is adequte.

 

Note: All components are designed to snap together securely without adhesive. A pry tool will be included with each kit. This tool will help you take apart the kit properly without cause any fractures in the caps.

 

Step 3: Install on Wheel

  • Align the assembled center cap with the wheel’s center bore

  • Press evenly around the edges until the cap seats fully. Take your time, we make sure caps are on a secure as possible. 

  • Confirm the cap is secure and spins freely when the wheel is rotated.

 

Step 4: Final Check

  • Rotate the wheel by hand to verify smooth floating action

  • Recheck fitment after the first short drive


Cap Swapping & Customization

 

One of the key advantages of the Teck Designs system is its tool-free, non-permanent design.

 

To swap cap colors or designs:

  1. Remove the center cap from the wheel. Certain wheel designs will allow our Pry tool to remove the center cap with out removing the wheel complely. 

  2. Disassemble the floating components by using our included pry tool

  3. Install the new cap desing using our floating disc

  4. Reassemble and reinstall. Confirm everything fits tight. If you feel that the cap is not securing prorperly please contact us before driving the vehicle with caps on

 

This process takes seconds, allowing you to update your look anytime—unlike permanently glued kits that must be broken to remove and dissassemble.


Care & Cleaning Instructions

 

To maintain appearance, performance, and warranty coverage:

  • Hand wash only using mild soap and water

  • Avoid pressure washers and automatic car washes

  • Do not use harsh chemicals, wheel acids, or degreasers

  • Allow caps to cool before cleaning, especially after driving

  • Inspect periodically for secure fitment and proper rotation


Important Use Notes

  • Designed for normal street driving conditions

  • Not intended for track use or extreme heat environments unless using ASA components

  • Excessive heat, improper installation, or aggressive cleaning methods may affect performance
